Furoshiki Organic Cotton - 100 Cochae Whale In The Morning Sun Blue 100cm

Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese cloth that offers a sustainable alternative to paper gift wrap. These versatile square fabrics remain useful even after the gift is opened. Furoshiki can be creatively used to wrap a wide variety of items, from delicate ceramics to melons.

  • Size: 100 x 100 cm
  • Material: 100% cotton

In Nagasaki, traditional kites are known as hata. This design combines the “Nagasaki Hata” motif, often called The Morning Sun on the Wave, with elements of traditional Japanese folk toys, represented by the striking image of a whale’s blow.

Presented in simple, balanced colours, it blends easily into modern interiors. The soft, lightweight fabric also makes it suitable as a decorative textile or a stylish scarf.
